  I've had two ACL reconstructions. The first was by a very nice orthopedic, I won't say his name however I'm in need of a second reconstruction on that same knee. It was very painful and my recovery was crucial. BUT with my second ACL reconstruction on the other knee, I went to Dr Johansen. The next day was a little painful but on the 3rd day I was already hopping around. He did an amazing job! My recovery time was not long and my knee is doing great! The ladies in the office are always very busy but are always very nice! Everyone in the back is very friendly! Johansen's assistant, can't remember his name, sorry, but he is amazing as well and knows how to make you laugh and feel like family. Dr Johansen and his team do a great job! I have and always will, recommend him and his team.

  Doc Johansen took the time to answer the questions I had in detail. I had done some homework and am somewhat knowledgeable when it comes to general biology so I was able to ask intelligent questions and he provided the straight answers I liked... not what "I wanted to hear" or some other bs.... I got the straight responses I appreciate and like. His staff has been nothing but courteous and efficient. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Johansen and his staff. He "scoped" my knee a few years ago and I will be returning soon to see about further treatment to the arthritis I have in both of my knees (too much weight, abuse, football, power lifting etc. has taken a terrible toll on them).
